Brussels Sprouts In Garlic Butter:

Brussels sprouts:


  • 15 Brussels sprouts, halves lengthwise
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed with a knife
  • Fresh grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Salt & Pepper


  1. Melt the butter and olive oil in a medium skillet (over medium-high heat) until the butter is foamy.
  2. Reduce heat to medium, add crushed garlic and cook until light brown.
  3. Remove and discard garlic.
  4. Add the cut sprouts to the bottom, cover, and cook without stirring over medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes or until tender when punched with a knife.
  5. The cut side of the shoots should turn tender and brown, with a buttery flavor rich in garlic.
  6. Covering with freshly grated Parmesan, salt, and pepper, to taste.
